progress and uncertainty

This photo was taken last week, while we had our morning coffee on our beautiful balcony. Many things have changed since then and we currently live under political and economical uncertainty. The dolls are ready and many of their costumes too but I don’t know if we will be able to celebrate M’s nameday and birthday. I don’t even know if we will be able to pay her school if the banks do not open on Monday and if on next Sunday Greeks decide to decline the proposals of the IMF and the EU.  I would like to sing “Don’t worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright” but I can’t and both me and D blame ourselves for not moving to another country when we could.  The beauty of Athens is completely forgotten today and I don’t even want to think about what will happen if we are out of the eurozone.
